Brief  |  Design & Typesetting of a 256 page hardback book. Written by a contemporary artist and a doctor, a self-help book to encourage everyone to get into painting. The challenge was to combine a vast amount of visual information, pros and quotations from famous artists, and find appropriate paintings from Emily Powell’s vast body of work which fit the theme  of each chapter. Each chapter also included notes from both author to the readers, which I contained in coloured hand drawn boxes, and hand illustrated diagrams to aid with the ‘task’ pages.
